Undoubtedly, for Rog and Tina Thomas, love was blind. They had met in Hong Kong and soon they were married. They bathed her several times a day and wherever she went she had to carry a backpack with creams and specific medications.

Miu was growing despite the gloomy forecasts, but when he started school he began his ordeal. The children made fun of his appearance, nobody wanted to be his friend and every day that happened it cost him more and more to make relationships. Today, at 23 years old, Miu gives talks around the world not only to take her story and talk about her illness, but to encourage those who suffer some type of bullying. In addition, he graduated as a Rugby referee and every weekend works on what he is passionate about.
